What am I reading this summer?

I have read these books so far since Feb. on my Kindle:
John Locke books ( I have read them all) I just read "Follow the Stone"
Addison Moore (I have read all of them. The lastest one is Expel)
Jessica Sorensen (I have read all of hers. The lastest one is "The Promise" and Darkness Falls)
Robin Parrish (Read all of his)
Karen Macinerney (Look her books their four of them: Murder Most Maine)
Amanda Hocking (Read all of hers)

I am about to read these this summer:
Beautiful Disaster by Jane McGuire
With Open Eyes by Johansen
Snatched by Karen Slaughter
The Remains by Vincent Zandri

I'll let you know if these are good!!!!

  1. Thanks for linking up! I bought the first of the Trylle (is that how it's spelled?) trilogy by Amanda Hocking and started it- I liked it, but haven't finished it.

I'll definitely pick it up again!

    Mrs. Bainbridge's Blog

    1. I like it too, but she doesn't put them out fast enough for me!

  2. Just found your blog from your post on mine :) and I have so many reservations about doing the Daily 5 in my class! But, it just seems like everyone I talk to that teaches K, loves it! I agree with you where the students that can't read yet will pretend read or look bored--I also have a lot of ELL students that don't even know their letters/letter sounds in english yet! However, as of now, I am thinking that this is actually okay for them at the beginning. They can pretend read, learn concepts of print, etc. I will probably have to work with them more on 'stamina' a big part of the Daily 5. They may only be able to sit and read for 2 minutes at the beginning, then I will set a higher goal for them daily or weekly until they are able to sit for the full amount of time. We will see!! I haven't finished the book yet so hopefully I will learn more from the book and other bloggers :)

    Kindergarten Smiles

    1. I like the idea since it would simplify the time we spend setting up and changing centers. I just think maybe Kinder should start in January after the break. What do you think?

  3. Found you through the summer reads linky! :) You will be busy reading! I joined the linky too... stop by if you have a chance
